For the approval of new and the cancellation of existing absences, PlainStaff offers various predefined approval processes. These can be flexibly configured for each booking type.

Simple approval process

In the simple approval process, an approval task is sent to the relevant supervisor(s). Responsible supervisors include those assigned to the employee’s team or directly to the employee.

Two-Step approval process

For the two-step approval process, there are two different variations. The first approval step is always performed by the relevant supervisor(s), just like in the simple approval process. The second approval step is carried out either by the supervisors of the first-level supervisors or by individuals defined in a list on the booking type.
