Project time tracking is used to record, document, and bill project-related working hours. In contrast to project time tracking, employee working time recording is about tracking general working hours, overtime, and absences. For details, see the topic Record Working Times.
A time booking can be made using the Start Task / Stop Task function or directly as a complete booking. When using the "Start Task" function, PlainStaff creates a booking and starts a timer displayed by a yellow button in the top right corner. Clicking the button or the "Stop Task" menu finalizes the booking, allowing project, task, hours, and comments to be edited before saving.
